macbook pro - Google Chrome Sync Reverted to Old Account Settings

I've been getting this error when I start Chrome on my MacBook Pro for a couple months now:

Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of Google Chrome.

Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of Chrome.

Note: I have confirmed that my version of Chrome is up to date.

Once I press 'ok,' it's fine and I can use my account as normal. The only thing that has changed is the little icons on my bookmarks bar are blank.

So finally today I decided to address the error and came to find that I needed to resync my Google account. I didn't realize why, but after entering my current password it asked for my old password, so I guessed a bunch of old ones and voilà! Everything changed back to the account I had in 2012. I lost all my bookmarks and themes.

Is there anyway to resync to my new account?

I need a .deb download of Google Chrome 12 (not the newest version, but version 12) for i386 Linux. Where can I get it?

I need this version because my operating system doesn't have the libraries required by newer Chrome .deb packages.

In this question I am not interested in upgrading or changing my operating system, and I'm not interested in using different browsers, and I'm aware of the security implications of using that particular old browser. Please give me a working download link if you know one.
