The majority of all PC cases are opened on the left side. However, I've seen very few that open on the right side. Why is this?

Actually many don't. I'm looking at a HP now that opens on the right when facing its front.

The reason is the AT/ATX form factor specification, which specifies the size, orrientation, and holes in the motherboard so it can match the mounting screw holes in the case.

I'm looking for computer cases that don't look like regular PC's in case customers would like to keep it on their desktop so it has to look stylish. I liked the Cobalt Cube:

Does someone know if some company makes cases that look the same (I know about Shuttle : they're too pricey), and possibly one that has a really quiet power supply?

    Thank you.

I don't know any cases with that color unfortunately, but if you are searching something stylish and good overall quality I can suggest you the Antec Mini P180. They provide also a Pearl White version that IMHO is really cool and elegant.

Here it is also a positive hardware review.

Also Silverstone provides good quality small cases, the SG06 is new and come with 80 plus power supply. I wasn't able to find a review yet.
