I have a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 dual boot OS(win7/ubuntu) laptop. But today after opening webcam central It shows a error message "No Supported webcam found" and "please plug in a supported device".

I tried Following methods to solve this issue.

    1. Go to dell sites and run the Dell PC Diagnostics for Webcam Issues and Using and Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software. After Done it says that

"We are unable to find the selected device. The device driver for your selected diagnostic is either not installed or installed incorrectly. Please ensure your device is enabled through your device manager or go to Drivers and Downloads to install the latest driver."

    2. So i go to Device Manager > Imaging devices/USB But there is not a listing for Imaging Devices.

    3. Also try uninstall dell webcam central and reinstall it. But same messge "No Supported webcam found".

So Please help me to work my Integrated webcam normally. Can u mention some Suggestions to work webcam better ?

Here's a link to the correct driver:

    Creative Labs Laptop Integrated Webcam

However, you shouldn't need it. The webcam will be automatically detected by Windows XP and the generic driver works just fine.

In case the webcam is turned off, you can enable it via Fn + F7

The Fn key combinations may not be working without this:

    Dell QuickSet
